Friends of Ghana

"Multiple home sickness. That's what happens when you leave bits of your heart in so many different places." - Maggie Ryan

A good friend of mine recently tweeted: "Sometimes when I'm going through difficult times I realise other people have far bigger problems than mine.

"And for those with really big problems, I wonder how they do it, I am humbled by people who deal with such huge things."

I asked him if he minded me quoting him on this blog, because what he is going through is so common! What many people re-consider when they visit areas of extreme poverty however, is that it is important to remember that what may be a daily struggle to find food, shelter, safe water, medicine...everybody is doing their best to be happy.

After all, life is extremely precious.
Potter's Village knows this, and gives every single child that second chance to a better, safer, happier life.
